To believe in the transforming power of the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ; to claim our calling to be a community of believers committed to the service of our Lord; to risk moving out of our "comfort zone," as we learn to Love God and Love our neighbors well; to walk boldly, knowing that no challenge, no problem, no obstacle is too large for those empowered by the Holy Spirit; to be the church Christ has called us to be as His body in the world.
We are a community of faith that was called together in 1890 to worship God, to live in peace and fellowship with God’s people, and to give evidence of our faith as we generously and lovingly provide help and support to those who live in the surrounding communities.
We are a church in transition, seeking to discern God's direction for the future as we faithfully worship and serve. We invite you to join us as we build upon our strong heritage, move forward as disciples of Jesus Christ, and strive to be living examples of God’s grace, mercy, and love in a rapidly-changing world.
We are a family-sized church which can genuinely be described as caring, welcoming, hopeful, friendly and warm. These are words that we hear, not just from our body, but from those who visit us. Westminster is place with special appeal to families who have moved away from home and value multi-generational fellowship for their children.
